Hello Everyone it’s been along time since I have written in my blog. I hope you’re all doing well during this crazy time. It’s been a year since we have entered this state of emergency with COVID-19. However, I feel that we are seeing light at the end of the tunnel.

During Covid I have become aware of many interesting causes and organizations and although I have heard of international woman’s day I never really realized how much people celebrated it and I wanted to be a part of that celebration. For obvious reasons, being a woman yet also for being a mother to young lady who’s growing up in a very different world. I would like my daughter to know that she can be whoever she wants to be. She can do whatever she wants to do. The general rule that applies to everything we do, is that I tell her make sure that whatever you do that it is for the better of yourself and the community you serve. Given that, anything is game.

International woman’s day it’s not about just being a woman or celebrating being a woman. It is also about celebrating all the women before us that forged brave new paths for us to follow and to continue to build.
